Dr. Ann has been practicing for 18 years in Thailand and is certified in Applications of Nutrition in Medicine from the Nutrition Society of Australia, Sydney. Dr. Nuttamon Le Men MD manages the health and wellness of all patients at FRESH MEDIQ by analyzing blood tests, hormone levels, vitamin deficiencies, and sustainable weight loss programs.

How The Test Works

The DNA test is a simple, non-invasive mouth swab that is easy to do at home or at FRESH MEDIQ.

¹  Stop eating and drinking for at least 1 hour before testing.

² Rub the test swab provided against the inside of both cheeks for one minute each side.

³ Place the stabilizing capsule in the tube with the cheek sample and seal the tube in the packaging provided.

The Genetic Metabolism Test can be ordered online or in-clinic. Order online here. All major credit cards are accepted. Depending on your location, the DNA test kit should arrive within 2 weeks after placing your order. This test is available worldwide.

COLLECT DNA SAMPLE

SEND DNA SAMPLE

Return your DNA sample in the provided package along with a signed consent form. Please note that we can NOT process your order without a signed consent form. There are no special storage or transport requirements, and you can return the sample any day.

For international online orders, patients are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping to the lab. However, test samples collected in-clinic at FRESH MEDIQ are exempt from international shipping fees.

We’ll email your results in PDF format, along with explanation guides and resource links. At this point, you may schedule a consultation appointment to review the results with a qualified nutrigenomics health professional at FRESH MEDIQ (if this option was ordered).

WANT MORE TESTS?

We can add extra genetic tests for up to 6 months from the date the original DNA sample was collected. The same DNA sample can be used for these additional tests within this period, and you do not have to pay for the testing kit again. How many times should I take a genetic metabolism test?

Since your genetic DNA code does not change, you only need to take this test once in your lifetime.

Our genes are fixed from birth, so the age at which you are tested does not affect the results. Your diet, medical conditions, or medications will not influence the test results either.

You only need to be tested once because your genetic DNA code does not change. What can change is how you manage your genetics to improve your health.

How accurate are the genetic metabolism test results?

Our genotyping method is highly precise, with an accuracy rate of at least 99.9%. Any results that do not meet our stringent quality control standards are marked as ‘no result’ and not included in the report.

Each report is thoroughly referenced to support our interpretations, and our expert team routinely reviews the reports to ensure they remain current and clinically relevant.

Is my DNA data safe?

We take the utmost care with your sensitive data, ensuring it is stored securely and protected by the highest industry standards. We retain the minimum necessary patient data for the shortest possible time.

Upon receipt, samples are assigned a barcode and all other patient identifiers are removed. The test is solely used to generate reports, which are only shared with authorized practitioners at FRESH MEDIQ.

Each test is processed in an ISO-certified laboratory, and all samples are completely destroyed after 3 months. Patient genotyping data is marked for destruction at 5 months and fully destroyed by 6 months. The patient report, data, and DNA sample are never shared with or sold to third parties.

Who can be tested?

Anyone, including children, can be tested with parental consent. For children under 18, a parent or guardian with legal responsibility must provide consent.
