Genetic Detoxification
Test Thailand

The Genetic Detoxification Test is designed to uncover how your body processes and eliminates harmful substances like toxins, drugs, and alcohol. By examining specific genes related to detoxification, this test offers insights into your unique genetic makeup and how it influences detox pathways. Understanding these genetic variations can help identify potential deficiencies in your detoxification process, allowing for personalized recommendations to optimize your health.

Detoxification is a vital process carried out mainly by the liver, with assistance from the small intestine, kidneys, and lungs. The Genetic Detoxification Test examines key pathways, including liver detox phases, alcohol metabolism, and the detoxification of pesticides and molds. By leveraging this information, you can make informed lifestyle and dietary choices to enhance your body’s natural detoxification abilities.

Genetic Detoxification
Test Pathways

Genetic pathways are the biochemical routes involved in the body’s detoxification process. Pathways refer to a series of chemical reactions occurring within cells that transform and eliminate toxins, ensuring metabolic balance and overall health. Understanding these pathways helps identify genetic variations that may impact detoxification efficiency, guiding personalized interventions to optimize your health.

N

Liver Detox Phase 1 - Genetic Detoxification Pathway

Liver Detox Phase 1 is the initial step in the body’s detoxification process, focusing on the modification of toxins. This pathway involves oxidation, reduction, or hydrolysis reactions primarily facilitated by cytochrome P450 enzymes. Variants in these genes can potentially lead to a higher susceptibility to toxin-related damage. Genes tested in Liver Detox Phase 1 Pathway include: CYP1A1, CYP1A2, CYP1B1, CYP2A6, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, CYP2E1, and CYP3A4.

N

Liver Detox Phase 2 - Genetic Detoxification Pathway

Liver Detox Phase 2 is crucial for making toxins water-soluble and easier to excrete from the body. This pathway involves the conjugation of Phase 1 toxins with water-soluble groups. Variants in these genes can impact the body’s ability to neutralize and eliminate toxins. Genes tested in Liver Detox Phase 2 Pathway include: UGT1A1, UGT1A6, SULT1A1, SULT1E1, SULT2A1, COMT, TPMT, NAT1, NAT2, GSTM1, GSTP1, and GSTT1.

N

Liver Detox Phase 3 - Genetic Detoxification Pathway

Liver Detox Phase 3 focuses on the active transport of toxins and their conjugates out of cells for excretion. This pathway ensures the final elimination of detoxified substances from the body, which is essential for maintaining metabolic balance. The key gene tested in Liver Detoxification Phase 3 is ABCB1.

N

Alcohol & Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) - Genetic Detoxification Pathway

This pathway analyzes the metabolism of alcohol, as well as the neutralization of reactive oxygen species (ROS). These genes show the breakdown of alcohol into less harmful substances and the protection of cells from oxidative stress caused by ROS. Variants in these genes can increase adverse effects from alcohol and lead to oxidative damage. Genes tested include: ADH1B, ADH1C, ALDH2, SOD2, GPX1, and NQO1.

N

Paracetamol & NSAID Medications - Genetic Detoxification Pathway

This pathway evaluates the body’s efficiency in metabolizing and eliminating acetaminophen (Paracetamol, Tylenol) and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These genes are critical in preventing toxicity from these commonly used medications. Variants in these genes can lead to reduced detoxification efficiency and liver damage. Genes tested include: UGT1A1, GSTM1, CYP2C9, CYP2D6, CYP3A4, SULT1A1, NAT2.

N

Pesticides, Molds, and PAHs - Genetic Detoxification Pathway

This pathway examines the body’s ability to detoxify harmful chemicals found in pesticides, mycotoxins produced by molds, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from smoke and charred foods. Variants in these genes can influence detoxification efficiency and lead to associated health risks. Genes tested include: PON1, SOD2, GPX1, NQO1, CYP1A1, CYP1B1, CYP2E1, GSTM1, GSTP1, and GSTT1.

Patients also receive tailored advice on appropriate treatment plans, including details about the essential vitamins and minerals they require.

Helpful FAQ’s

How many times should I take a genetic detoxification test?

Since your genetic DNA code does not change, you only need to take this test once in your lifetime.

Our genes are fixed from birth, so the age at which you are tested does not affect the results. Your diet, medical conditions, or medications will not influence the test results either.

You only need to be tested once because your genetic DNA code does not change. What can change is how you manage your genetics to improve your health.

How accurate are the genetic detoxification test results?

Our genotyping method is highly precise, with an accuracy rate of at least 99.9%. Any results that do not meet our stringent quality control standards are marked as ‘no result’ and not included in the report.

Each report is thoroughly referenced to support our interpretations, and our expert team routinely reviews the reports to ensure they remain current and clinically relevant.

Is my DNA data safe?

We take the utmost care with your sensitive data, ensuring it is stored securely and protected by the highest industry standards. We retain the minimum necessary patient data for the shortest possible time.

Upon receipt, samples are assigned a barcode and all other patient identifiers are removed. The test is solely used to generate reports, which are only shared with authorized practitioners at FRESH MEDIQ.

Each test is processed in an ISO-certified laboratory, and all samples are completely destroyed after 3 months. Patient genotyping data is marked for destruction at 5 months and fully destroyed by 6 months. The patient report, data, and DNA sample are never shared with or sold to third parties.

Who can be tested?

Anyone, including children, can be tested with parental consent. For children under 18, a parent or guardian with legal responsibility must provide consent.

#RELAX #REGENERATE

“Very professional service here. I have been suffering from some headaches and lethargy after recently getting over COVID, so I got the kratom to help significantly with the headache and energy levels. I also got some glutathione intravenously, and two days later, my COVID symptoms disappeared. Moreover, the price of kratom was very fair. But what I liked most was the dispensary honey which helped me get a good night’s sleep!”
